These sets are Lego-like and are Lego compatible. So you can build upon or modify your robot with standard Legos if you wish. It is especially a great opportunity for parent/child bonding time. We already put together a similar robot that is half the cost of this one. So if you wanna give this a try, but weary of its quality. If the less a expensive one a try first: https://www.amazon.com/review/R3H6IM925W9SS9/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8App and packaging logo looks the same, so it's by the same manufacture. But these are white label items from China. Meaning different sellers will sell them under different brand names. But they all seem to use the same MOULD KING app. If you own several of these robots, you can access all their controls under this Mould King app. I made a screen recording to demonstrate. However, this app is NOT available in the Google Play store. You'll need to use a QR scanner to scan their code, and it'll take you to a link to download. But it is available in the Apple Store.Overall, we like these toys a lot. The only thing that keeps it from being 5-Stars, is the lack of Google Play certification.
